S.O.L.I.D. Teens

We believe that the Word of God is powerful and will change lives (Heb 4:12). Therefore, the Bible is at the center of everything we teach and preach. Both in our Sunday School and our Wednesday evening services, S.O.L.I.D. Teens meet to be instructed in the Word of God and to be challenged by the Word of God. Our adversary desires to snatch our young people and we need to equip them for the battle ahead!

We schedule various activities throughout the year for the S.O.L.I.D. Teens youth ministry here at Grace Baptist Church. We will typically have one youth activity per month, and a “Teen Takeover” service once a quarter. This is when our teens do everything in the service, from ushering and singing, to preaching God’s Word. These activities are planned and designed so that teenagers can not only have good, clean fellowship with one another that establishes friendships that honor the Lord, but also to develop in them a servant’s heart, who’s desire is to serve the Lord by serving others and their church family.

It is our strong belief that proper ministry to youth begins in the home, and that the parents are the best role model and teacher that young people could possible have. Too often when teaching teens in today’s culture, churches focus more on entertainment and holding their attention than on the presentation of strong, biblical truth and application. Our goal in our youth ministry is to develop S.O.L.I.D., Christ-like young people who will glorify God with their lives.

Welcome to the Grace Baptist Church S.O.L.I.D. Teens Youth Ministry!

Sunday School (9:30am – 10:20am): Teaching through a series entitled “Different by Design: Discovering that a godly life is a good life.”

Wednesday Evening (6:45pm – 8:00pm): Currently preaching through a series on the “Teenage Years of Christ.”

Doritos Crash Course: January 27th (6 pm - 9 pm): Test your skills on the Doritos Crash Course for Xbox. See if you can advance to the final round and become the crash course Champion. Pizza, snacks and other games will be provided.

Snow Tubing: Feb. 11th (12pm – 7pm): We will be heading to Heritage Hills for a fun packed time of snow tubing. Don’t forget to dress warm. Refreshments and a packed dinner will be provided.
